We ALL fall down, together we rise. Whether you’re going through dark days, or have dealt with them in the past, or perhaps maybe they have impacted someone you love, we have all been impacted by mental health struggles in some way, shape or form. No matter what it is that you are going through, life can and will get better for you. We have all felt that same feeling of being alone in this world, when the lights are all out, and nobody else is awake and all we have is the voice in our head. The feeling that even with our friends, family, coworkers, teammates, bosses, coaches, and peers around us, that we are alone in this fight, and in this world. THAT SPECIFIC FEELING IS WHAT CONNECTS US ALL. We are together alone. Not only will it get “better” but I truly believe you can find the greatness that resides within you, and that you’ll spread it to others as well. I find it interesting to speak with business owners, hard workers, and inspiring people about the challenges they have faced and how they‘ve overcome them. Based out of Vancouver, I find it important to speak about some of the difficult things in life, and to encourage others to feel happier and spread the love!

Make Hay While the Sun Shines | Ep. #154

In this solo episode of Risen Fallen, I’m diving into the loud voice most of us try to ignore — the inner critic. You know the one. It shows up when you're tired, overwhelmed, or just unsure. And in the middle of summer? It can hit even harder.
Some people feel energized by the sun, while others feel stuck in a summertime slump. I talk about both sides — and why your mindset, more than the weather, plays the biggest role in your energy and direction.
I also get into the importance of taking real inventory of your life. Because if you don’t slow down and reflect, how can you tell if that inner critic is telling the truth... or just running its mouth? Like I say in the episode: “If you drank too much, you don’t know what stories about you are true.”
This one’s raw, real, and a reminder that sometimes the loudest voice in your head isn’t you — it’s fear. And it’s time to take that power back.
Make hay while the sun shines. Just don’t let the inner critic run the show.
