We ALL fall down, together we rise. Whether you’re going through dark days, or have dealt with them in the past, or perhaps maybe they have impacted someone you love, we have all been impacted by mental health struggles in some way, shape or form. No matter what it is that you are going through, life can and will get better for you. We have all felt that same feeling of being alone in this world, when the lights are all out, and nobody else is awake and all we have is the voice in our head. The feeling that even with our friends, family, coworkers, teammates, bosses, coaches, and peers around us, that we are alone in this fight, and in this world. THAT SPECIFIC FEELING IS WHAT CONNECTS US ALL. We are together alone. Not only will it get “better” but I truly believe you can find the greatness that resides within you, and that you’ll spread it to others as well. I find it interesting to speak with business owners, hard workers, and inspiring people about the challenges they have faced and how they‘ve overcome them. Based out of Vancouver, I find it important to speak about some of the difficult things in life, and to encourage others to feel happier and spread the love!

Chaos Ensues! Snowy Roads In Vancouver!
Monday Jan 22, 2024
Monday Jan 22, 2024
Every year, the same thing happens here in Vancouver (and maybe the city you live in too), winter comes, temperatures drop, we all get our winter jackets, hats, and gloves out to stay cozy.
And then, out of nowhere, there’s precipitation in the air that freezes!!! We get the first snowfall, and even though all of our weather forecasts warned us about it, nobody comes prepared. Nobody has snow tires on, nobody salts the roads, and no plows are in sight when it starts coming down!
All of a sudden, the roads are chaos, and everyone stuck in the snow, slipping on black ice, and exploring side streets trying to get home is feeling angry, hungry, tired, and upset.
What are the lessons we can take away from all of this that can help us improve?

Natural Dopamine Sources Don’t Work!
Monday Jan 15, 2024
Monday Jan 15, 2024
A lot of the time when wanting to improve our mental health or our physical health, we start to make steps and create habits that will make us feel better.
We try things like exercise and workouts, cold plunges, carnivore or vegan diets, fasting, vitamins, sleep changes, and more. However, sometimes they don’t make us feel good immediately.
I wanted to chat today about why that may be.

Take What People Say With A Grain of Salt | Adults Are Just Big Babies
Monday Jan 08, 2024
Monday Jan 08, 2024
Everyone wants to give their own advice to everyone else in the world. This video is just another piece of proof.
I want to remind you that everyone has their own bias, and we are all just trying to figure everything out.
It’s important that we take everyone’s opinions with a grain of salt and sometimes figure things out for ourselves.
Try that new hobby, embark on a new business venture.
We are always able to learn from other peoples mistakes, but when it comes to the limits of ourselves, our strength, our discipline, our mental fortitude, we need to try it out for ourselves, and push ourselves.
Who knows, you could be an outlier.

How to Avoid Being Distracted from Your Goals this Year
Thursday Jan 04, 2024
Thursday Jan 04, 2024
Many people set goals for themselves at this time of year.
New Years Resolutions, and loft goals to improve our mental health, physical health and fitness, our finances, and our relationships.
But we always have to beware of the distractions in life, and what forms they can take.

How You Can Stick To Your Goals For Once! New Years Resolutions 2024
Monday Jan 01, 2024
Monday Jan 01, 2024
If you’re anything like me, you find yourself making goals or resolutions for yourself every year.
Maybe to improve your mental health, maybe to improve your physical health, or maybe even your finances, or your relationships.
Maybe you’re trying to start a new habit that you can continue for life…
And then life happens.
We quickly find ourselves in a place where those goals and visions we had for ourselves is simply just a memory.
Why can’t we catch ourselves on the way?
Something I’ve found useful for myself is trying to think of clues that I can leave for myself so that I know when I am getting off track.

New Years Eve Reflections 2024
Thursday Dec 28, 2023
Thursday Dec 28, 2023
Like many other people who are passionate about improving their mental and physical health, the end of the year seems to be a great time for reflection.
As you take this time to turn to your journal, or however you meditate and reflect on your thoughts, try to remember all of the things that you are proud of, and all of the things that you are NOT so proud of.
See if you can reflect on these things unemotionally.

Monday Dec 25, 2023
Teddie and I sat down for a little Christmas get-together and reminisced about fond Christmas memories, and visions of our dream future Christmases together.
As usual, Teddie stayed focused on the task at hand, and Mark made some stupid jokes.
We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
