
We ALL fall down, together we rise. Whether you’re going through dark days, or have dealt with them in the past, or perhaps maybe they have impacted someone you love, we have all been impacted by mental health struggles in some way, shape or form. No matter what it is that you are going through, life can and will get better for you. We have all felt that same feeling of being alone in this world, when the lights are all out, and nobody else is awake and all we have is the voice in our head. The feeling that even with our friends, family, coworkers, teammates, bosses, coaches, and peers around us, that we are alone in this fight, and in this world. THAT SPECIFIC FEELING IS WHAT CONNECTS US ALL. We are together alone. Not only will it get “better” but I truly believe you can find the greatness that resides within you, and that you’ll spread it to others as well. I find it interesting to speak with business owners, hard workers, and inspiring people about the challenges they have faced and how they‘ve overcome them. Based out of Vancouver, I find it important to speak about some of the difficult things in life, and to encourage others to feel happier and spread the love!

Sometimes we all need the reminder that we all need someone to talk to, and when we are going through the thick of it, in our darkest days, it can be the hardest to reach out. When struggling with depression, anxiety, or any other mental illness, like ptsd, and many other things, it can be so easy to feel like isolating yourself is the best option.
IT IS NOT.
The best thing we can do for our mental health is to connect with other people and sometimes that means that we have to make the first move. Now, this can be difficult, but if we successfully isolate ourselves from the rest of the world, it only leads to more suffering.
Take initiative today and call your friends, if you’re doing good, or if you’re not, and just ask them how they are doing, and GENUINELY CARE. Find it in your heart to love someone today, and tell them. Remind them how much they mean to you.

I wanted to talk about how modern society and social media have impacted our mental health, and caused depression, anxiety, stress, and the loss of our attention span. This has been increasing the amount of people that have been suffering from the “symptoms” of ADHD in my personal opinion.

When it comes to mental health, and self development, when a lot of us start out on our journeys to improve ourselves, and improve the state perhaps of depression, or anxiety we all come to a similar realization eventually.
This could be perhaps that when you feel negative all the time, and never feel positivity, what we desire is the exact opposite, which would be never feeling bad, and always feeling good.
This, obviously is not a realistic expectation for us to have and hold moving forward.
